Appaloosa Horses originally came from a variety of spotted Spanish equines that were traded then bred by the Nez Perce. They are also known as the Nez Perce Horse. These charming and flashy horses are beloved all over the world. Horses continue to be an important part of Indigenous culture and identity. Herbert Halate’s smoothly sculpted Appaloosa is presented in jet with rump inlays from turquoise. Endearing eyes are from turquoise inlays as well. About 5 1/4″ long, 1 3/8″ wide and 4″ tall.
